Your Internet cache is in the Temporary Internet Files folder on your hard disk. This is where Web pages and files (such as graphics) are stored as you view them. This speeds up the display of pages you frequently visit or have already seen, because it is faster to open them from your hard disk than from the Web.

The downside of this is that it represents a record of all pages you have been visiting, compromising your privacy and it takes up space on your hard disk.
Iit can sometime cause problems in loading a page that you have visited many times before.
